Okay everyone says they don’t have time to exercise, so I will show you how to lose weight in a week at home following simple tips. These tips are proven to help with weight loss and can easily be done at home. You don’t have to worry about anyone staring at you while you workout since you will be in the comfort of your own home.

Make sure you Exercise During Television Commercials

This may sound to simple to be true but the average television show is about 20-30% commercials. This means for an hour long program you can get about 20 minutes of exercise in without having to leave your living or bed room. This is great since you don’t have to change anything in your lifestyle other than exercising instead of sitting on your butt.

Do Body Weight Exercises

If you want to lose weight at home and want to see changes in a week you need to do bodyweight exercises. Remember I said to exercise during commercials, if you are doing to exercise what better way to do it than with your own bodyweight. Jumping jacks, lunges, push-ups, and burpees are great exercises to do that will allow you to get started as soon as the commercials come on. There is no need to grab weights or kettlebells you can just get your body moving.

Cut Out the Junk and Snack Foods

Junk and snack foods are killer on the weight gain at home and work. Eating too much junk food will lead to eating unwanted calories and also overeating when its meal time. Most junk foods are high in fructose and this causes you to crave more foods after. It’s a never ending cycle of feeling hungry even when you aren’t simply because your blood sugar levels are telling you that you need something to eat.

Instead of eating snack cakes or sweets grab fruits or string cheese as these will help reduce cravings and calorie intake causing more and more pounds to drop off.

Be More Active Around the House

Go outside more and watch television less. Move around and walk around your neighborhood or go to the park with the spouse or kids. This keeps your body in motion and actually will keep food off you mind while you are burning more calories. Most of the weight gain at home is when you are setting in front of the television doing nothing more than putting food in your mouth.
